A Testament to Enjoyment, Resilience, and Rush Unity!
For the 2013G Blue team, the 2025 JSC Torneo dei Presidenti tournament was more than just a competition; it was a showcase of determination, Rush Unity, and the pure Rush Enjoyment of the game. Over the course of four matches, the team battled through challenges, celebrated victories, and ultimately proved that success goes beyond the final score.
After three hard-fought group-stage games, their fate rested in another team’s hands. If Burlingame won their match, Fremont Rush wouldn’t advance to the final. Instead of dwelling on the uncertainty, the team gathered together, watching intently, cheering for the opposing team, and hoping for a draw, the only result that would send them through. When the final whistle blew at 1-1, confirming their spot in the championship match, the entire team erupted in celebration, jumping with excitement and embracing the moment as one.
Memorable Performances That Defined the Weekend!
The final was a true test of character. Down 2-1, with the clock ticking, the girls had a choice...to let frustration take over or keep fighting. They chose the latter. Rather than lowering their heads, they pushed forward, creating scoring opportunities until the final whistle. Their ability to stay positive, lift each other up, and fight for every chance showed just how much they had grown....not just as players, but as teammates who refuse to give up.
What makes this group special isn’t just their ability to play, it’s how much they love playing together. From pre-game rituals to sideline cheers, their camaraderie was evident in every moment. Even after the final loss, there was no division...only unity! They left the field disappointed but still grateful, recognizing that what they built together was bigger than a single match.
After the final, Coach Song reminded the team of a powerful lesson: trophies don’t define success. Instead, it’s measured in:
