F.A.Q. SECTION!
Fremont Rush Weather Policy
The health and safety of our players are our top priority at Fremont Rush Soccer. We understand that inclement weather is a natural part of playing sports, and it is important for our players to learn how to handle and play in different weather conditions. However, we also recognize that some weather conditions can be dangerous or pose a risk to the well-being of our players.
In the event of severe weather or dangerous playing conditions, such as lightning or extreme heat, all training sessions and games will be postponed or canceled. The club will make every effort to communicate any changes or cancellations to players and parents as soon as possible through email and/or text messaging.
In the case of light rain, training sessions will proceed as scheduled. Players should come prepared with appropriate clothing and gear, such as a rain jacket and cleats suitable for wet conditions.
In the event of heavy rain, the decision to proceed with training sessions or games will be made on a case-by-case basis by the coaching staff and club directors. Factors that will be considered include the severity of the rain, the condition of the field, and the safety of the players. The club will communicate any changes or cancellations to players and parents in a timely manner.
In the case of extreme cold, the coaching staff and club directors will determine if training sessions or games should be postponed or canceled based on the safety of the players. Players should come prepared with appropriate clothing and gear to stay warm, such as multiple layers, hats, gloves, and warm-up pants.
Lastly, Fremont Rush Soccer operates under the weather guidelines established by the U.S. Soccer Federation. You may learn more by clicking here: http://www.recognizetorecover.org/environmental
