Grassroots 1 Day (Rec)
1 DAY A WEEK SOCCER PROGRAM
Program Information
"Designed for the new soccer player who want to start their journey in this beautiful game on a weekly basis!"
Grassroots Youth Soccer is a program designed to introduce young players to the sport of soccer and develop their skills in a less intensive environment compared to Recreational Soccer. It is a program that focuses on building the foundation of the sport for players who are just starting to play soccer or have limited experience. The program is designed for players between the ages of 4-14 and is geared toward developing their technical and tactical skills.
A new grassroots program commences on the first Saturday of every month and is offered in four-week cycles. Fremont Rush's professional coaches will train players in groups on Saturdays. The program's focus is on developing fundamental skills in soccer players. Each week, one of the following topics will be the focus of instruction, building upon the previous week's lesson:
- Ball Control
- Dribbling & Passing
- 1v1 (Moves and Feints)
- Shooting

Weather Policy for Fremont Rush Soccer:
The health and safety of our players are our top priority at Fremont Rush Soccer. We understand that inclement weather is a natural part of playing sports, and it is important for our players to learn how to handle and play in different weather conditions. However, we also recognize that some weather conditions can be dangerous or pose a risk to the well-being of our players.
In the event of severe weather or dangerous playing conditions, such as lightning or extreme heat, all training sessions and games will be postponed or canceled. The club will make every effort to communicate any changes or cancellations to players and parents as soon as possible through email and/or text messaging.
In the case of light rain, training sessions will proceed as scheduled. Players should come prepared with appropriate clothing and gear, such as a rain jacket and cleats suitable for wet conditions.
In the event of heavy rain, the decision to proceed with training sessions or games will be made on a case-by-case basis by the coaching staff and club directors. Factors that will be considered include the severity of the rain, the condition of the field, and the safety of the players. The club will communicate any changes or cancellations to players and parents in a timely manner.
In the case of extreme cold, the coaching staff and club directors will determine if training sessions or games should be postponed or canceled based on the safety of the players.
