2017G Team: Fueled by Passion and Enjoyment

Nurturing Passion and Enjoyment!

At Fremont Rush Soccer, we take immense pride in nurturing young talents and instilling in them the core values that will shape their soccer journey. One such group that has truly embodied the spirit of our club is the 2017G pre-competitive team. With an unwavering passion for the game and an understanding of the importance of enjoyment, these young athletes are setting the stage for their transition into competitive soccer in the 2025/2026 playing year.

One of our Rush core values at Fremont Rush Soccer is "Enjoyment: Enjoy your work, this is a gift. The desires of diligent workers are satisfied." This value emphasizes the significance of finding joy in what you do, understanding that hard work and dedication are key ingredients for success. It's about fostering a love for the game, both on and off the field, and Coach Fernando has been instrumental in instilling this value in the 2017G team.

Coach Fernando shared his insights on the significance of enjoyment in youth soccer:

"Enjoyment isn't just a word; it's a mindset we cultivate in our young players. When they step onto the field, I want them to feel the excitement and passion of playing soccer. It's not solely about winning; it's about relishing the process, learning from each game, and growing as individuals and a team. This enjoyment will be their greatest asset as they progress to competitive soccer."

As they prepare for the transition to competitive soccer in the 2025/2026 playing year, the 2017G team is well-prepared. Their foundation of enjoyment, instilled by Coach Fernando, will serve as a guiding light in their pursuit of success. With the core value of enjoyment firmly in their hearts, they are well-equipped to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Each month, we are thrilled to showcase 11 outstanding players who embody the spirit and values of Fremont Rush Soccer. These players, chosen by their coaches, demonstrate one of the 11 Rush Core Values through their dedication, teamwork, and passion for the game. But wait… we’ve got exciting news! 🚀🍕 Fremont Rush Soccer is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Bombay Pizza House, a local favorite known for its delicious fusion of flavors and community-driven approach. As part of this newly established partnership and campaign initiative, our Fremont Rush Monthly Starting 11 recipients will now receive a dine-in pizza party at Bombay Pizza House, which includes: One Large Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza One Large Specialty Pizza of Their Choice Two 2-Liter Sodas Three Orders of Garlic Sticks This collaboration not only rewards our dedicated players but also strengthens the bond within our Fremont Rush family. Beginning February 3rd, 2025, this partnership will bring exclusive team rewards, fundraising opportunities, and fun giveaways for our players and families throughout the season! (With a total of 11 players from our club across our competitive teams.)
